WELCOME!

COVID Safety

We take your health seriously! We constantly clean and disinfect, plus have 2 powerful HEPA+carbon filters to continuously purify viruses and allergens. We also have 8 windows that open, allowing us superior ventilation. With all the windows open, it is practically like being outdoors! 


Classes require preregistration, so they are never crowded. 


Masks are optional on premises (our staff are vaccinated.)  We carry in our studio shop Cloud Masks - the next generation in masks, featuring nanotech microfiber fabric, with superior fit that makes them safe (97.1% rating!), lightweight, quick-drying and so breathable! See them under Featured Products in our Shop. 


There is also a plethora of classes you can take from home (live via zoom or on demand via our video library) and, weather-permitting, outdoors! We will continue to offer the livestream format for the foreseeable future.

Please note, all classes now require pre-registration. If you have been to our studio, but never registered online before, click the reset your password link and use your email as your log-in name. If you need to change class format, cancel your original registration and then re-register for the correct format. 


Livestream links are auto-sent within 1 hour of the class start time. You can register up to a few minutes in advance of class, space permitting.


Text us at 518.406.8077 if you have any trouble registering or locating your livestream link (tip: it may be in your SPAM/Updates/Promos or similar type folder).

In-Studio Classes

Bring your personal mat, and we suggest a towel, a water bottle and personal props.  We do have studio props available, but due to Covid, we encourage you to bring your own.  


Outdoor Classes

Similar to In-Studio Classes. Please note the weather and dress in layers. (Note, certain premium mats also dry out in direct sunlight, so you may want to have a grippy towel to cover them).


Livestream Classes

A set of blocks and a strap are a great complement to your yoga mat! Note, Unwind & Restore Classes have additional prop suggestions.

If you are running late, please text us at 518.406.8077 as soon as possible and let us know your ETA.  Space and other circumstances permitting, we will try to accommodate you up to 15 minutes after the start of class.


If you need to cancel, please be considerate and do so as soon as possible. Our in-person capacity is severely limited due to Covid. Cancellations less than 3 hours in advance may result in a loss of class.  Depending on the circumstances we may be able to make an exception.  There currently is no late cancellation penalty for unlimited members.

We do not offer any refunds, but would be pleased to extend you studio credit instead.

Practice / Studio Etiquette and Some Recommendations

WELCOME! We look forward to seeing you!

Whether you are joining us online or in-studio, we look forward to meeting you and seeing your face! For online classes, we encourage you to keep the camera on the whole time so that you can benefit from the attention of your live teacher and the energy of your fellow students. Please let us know if you are a beginner, and if you have any injuries or conditions (including pre/post natal) that we should be aware of, so we can offer modifications. If you prefer, you may let your teacher know privately in the chat box.  Feel free to also call or text us at 518.406.8077 or email us at info@pure-bliss-yoga.com .  

General TIPS for in-studio classes and your personal practice:

  • Have a yoga mat! We personally love the Jade and Liforme brands and carry them in our boutique, but honestly, start with what you have /can find and upgrade when ready.  The thick gym/pilates mats however have too much stretch and wobble, and are generally too short, so we don't recommend them.  The standard yoga mat is 68".  If you are taller than 5'10", you may want a longer one however.


  • Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move in and out of the yoga poses uninhibited (think gym wear, yoga leggings, tighter fitting tops - you will be inverted for poses such as downward dog).  Almost everyone practices barefooted (no socks), and we request that you take your shoes off before entering the studio. 


  • Best to practice on an empty stomach.  If you must, have a light snack, but try to do it at least half hour before practice.  You can of course drink water.  


  • Please remember to turn your cell phones on silent or off mode, and answers any calls, if necessary, only once you are in the hallway. 


  • Try to arrive 5-10 minutes in advance of class. If you are late, please wait for the meditation and OM chant to finish, or if the front desk staff lets you, go in and sit down right away near the entry as quietly as possible, so that you do not disturb the energy of the class.  Please do not unroll your mat or fuss in any other way until the rest of the class starts moving too. 


  • Please try to keep clutter to a minimum in the studio or in your personal practice space. We have a common changing /mat storage room or you may leave belongings in the Zen Den which gets locked if no one is there during class.


We encourage you to bring your own mat and optionally your own props.  If you forget or need to get new ones, we have mats, blocks, straps and other props for sale in our boutique.  We have blankets, blocks, belts and bolsters for general use in classes.
